Welcome to TTM! (a.k.a Talks, Tea & Me), the unfiltered blog.
As I am typing this it has just gone 10 past 8 in the evening – I’ve had a day of university, waited an hour for my bus which usually takes 3 minutes, phone died so no music and spent the last 3 hours debating on which theme to start this blog on – it’s safe to say that I could have more energy. Now that I’ve got that off my chest – let’s cut to the chase!
I am Fiona, an 18-year-old with no idea of what she’s actually doing – yay for me! I am currently in my first year of university studying BA Journalism, overly obsessed with Harry Potter (RIP Fred, Snape, Lupin and many more) and The Vampire Diaries (Stelena all the way), a devoted Pinterest user and (wait for it…) A TEA ADDICT, who would have thought! I’d describe myself as being an extrovert around friends, curious, passionate and frankly, crazy. I enjoy traveling (10 countries and counting!), spending time with family, however, find it quite difficult to say the ideas I have in my head – emphasis on the quite. You know you have the typical stressed-out symptoms – clammy palms and red cheeks? Yes well for me it’s a tiny bit more than that – my hands are dripping (3 ply tissue to the rescue!) and well, not even L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte foundation can do my cheeks justice – awkward am I right?
Enough about me!
How did I come to this blog? I wanted to put my special talents of constant chatting, love for tea and everything else into something where I can express my thoughts and opinions. What better way than a blog? ‘Talks, Tea & Me’ will have everything – from recipes to politics to beauty and everyday life + much more! I want this blog to be inclusive so everybody can find something that they can relate to and find interesting – but beware, there will be an occasional rant here and there!
Finally, as I bring this post to an end and get very excited about my Pukka Tea and The Vampire Diaries episode I’ve been dying to watch – my aim for ‘TTM’ is to inspire, to support, and to inform people in a laid-back and comfortable manner so, here goes!
Till next time,
